Ford Extended Service Plan & Maintenance

Plus, if your New Vehicle Basic Warranty is nearing expiration, or has expired altogether, having a Ford ESP helps to protect you against unexpected repair bills, thanks to the additional coverage of many vehicle components.

Lincoln Maintenance Protection Plan is honoured at every authorized Lincoln Dealer in Canada and the United States.

Provides rental vehicle reimbursement up to $30/day for up to 10 days ($45/day on Lincoln vehicles) on a repair covered under the Basic Coverage of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or your Ford ESP.

If you sell your vehicle, the remaining ESP coverage may be transferred to a new owner, which can add to the resale value of your vehicle (ESP coverage must be transferred within 90 days of the purchase date of the vehicle, except where prohibited by law)

Our prepaid maintenance plans make it easy to keep your vehicle running at its best by ensuring it gets the recommended scheduled maintenance, as outlined in your vehicle’s Owner’s Guide.

If you sell your vehicle, the remaining FMPP prepaid maintenance coverage may be transferred to a new owner, which can add to the resale value of your vehicle. Simplified Service for your busy life. The Ford Maintenance Protection Plan (FMPP) makes it easy to follow Ford’s recommended maintenance schedule.

Scheduled Maintenance

Ford Maintenance Protection Plan (FMPP) covers Ford recommended scheduled maintenance as outlined in your vehicle’s Owner’s manual, up to maximum visits specified in your plan.

  • Change engine oil and replace filter
  • Inspect and rotate tires
  • Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and parking brake system
  • Inspect wheel ends for end play and noise
  • Inspect and lubricate steering linkage, ball joints, suspension and, if equipped, halfshafts, driveshafts and u-joints
  • Change transmission fluid
  • Replace fuel filter
  • Replace engine air filter
  • Change engine coolant
  • Replace PCV valve
  • If equipped, change transfer case fluid
  • If equipped, inspect and lubricate 4X4 front axle shaft u-joints
  • If equipped, lubricate 4X4 front hub needle baerings
  • If equipped, lubricate 4X2 front wheel bearings, replace grease seals and adjust bearings
  • If equipped, fill diesel exhaust fluid

Ford Maintenance Protection Plan (FMPP) includes coverage of the following wear items – when required – due to normal wear or defect:

  • Brake pads and linings
  • Brake rotors
  • Shock absorbers
  • Spark plugs
  • Wiper blades

  • Light bulbs (excludes LED/HID lamps and headlamps, unless PremiumCARE Plus! is purchased)
